Kathryn Payne is one of London's premier injury specialists. She successfully rehabilitates long term injuries through a programme of musculo-skeletal reprogramming. She uses a number of techniques to achieve success including Pilates, sports massage, personal training, physiotherapy, movement therapy, biomechanics and injury rehab training.
"When I started working with Kathryn, my physical activities were very limited because I was experiencing so much back pain. In addition, I had had four children over the past 11 years (the youngest of whom was then 3 and a half) and had put on nearly 20 pounds.
At the beginning it didn't seem like I was working very hard. Mostly I just laid on the floor and she had me do pretty simple floor exercises. But after a few weeks, I noticed that my back hurt less and I was able to do more activities. Gradually, we worked up to much more intense weight training sessions.
